</strong></em>Bob Sacks is a columnist and lecturer who  						regularly electrifies the media and marketing industry  						with the good and bad news about what he calls “El-CID”  						or Electronically Coordinated Information  						Distribution.  Bob’s firm, Precision Media Group, does  						private consulting and publishes &#8220;Heard on the Web:  						Media Intelligence&#8221;, a daily e-newsletter that delivers  						pertinent industry news to a diverse, worldwide,  						publishing community of over 11,750 media industry  						leaders. It is the longest running e-newsletter in the  						world.</p>
<p><strong>David Apple<br />
Managing Director, <em>Augme Mobile<br />
</em></strong>David joined AUGME Marketing Technologies with  						over 10 years of multi-media sales and marketing  						strategy experience.  David is passionate about changing  						the dynamics of Mobile Marketing, and leads all  						day-to-day operations of Augme Mobile. Prior to AUGME  						Marketing Technologies, David served in entrepreneurial  						leadership functions and as Vice President of Business  						Development for a global interactive advertising  						agency.  David also led the development of multi-media  						sales packages for major advertisers serving over 30  						national markets at a major television network in  						New York City.</p>
<p><strong>Joe Formosa<br />
Business Manager, <em>Vacumet<br />
</em></strong>Joe has been working in holographic and  						optical special effects media for over 20 years. Early  						work at Polaroid included special holographic elements  						for automotive, electronics and military applications.   						Recent work has focused on decorative packaging,  						collectible publications and promotions.  With a  						background in Chemistry and experience in Optical  						Science, Joe is proficient in various visual effects  						(metallized substrates, multi-channel holograms,  						3-Dimensional image technology, lenticular screens).</p>
<p><strong>Kevin Franz<br />
Vice President of Sales, </strong><em><strong>Intelligencer  						Printing </strong><br />
</em>Kevin Franz has worked for Intelligencer Printing  						for 20 years. Intelligencer is one of the country’s  						oldest and most respected commercial printers.  Kevin  						began his career at Intelligencer as a sales  						representative.  For the past seven years he has served  						as Vice President of Sales – NY Region, managing a  						professional regional sales force.  His experience has  						ranged from formulation of strategic marketing direction  						to implementation of print and direct marketing  						campaigns.</p>
<p><strong>Max Polisar<br />
Vice President, Sales, <em>Total Immersion</em></strong><br />
Max leads Total Immersion’s strategic partnerships in  						North America.  Max combines his comprehensive knowledge  						on emerging media disciplines and marketing  						communication to consult brands and agencies on how best  						to incorporate Augmented Reality tactics into their  						integrated marketing programs.  Prior to joining Total  						Immersion, Max directed the strategic partnership  						efforts for web development and mobile marketing  						projects at WhittmanHart Interactive and Buongiorno  						Mobile Marketing Services respectively.</p>
<p><strong>Bob Shaud<br />
Regional Sales Manager, <em>Americhip </em></strong><br />
Bob joined Americhip in January 2001 when he helped  						establish the New York office. Over the past 9 years Bob  						has worked with Americhip’s clients across various  						industries to create print campaigns incorporating  						Americhip’s multi-sensory print technologies of audio,  						video, light and paper dimensional pop ups.   Prior to  						joining Americhip, Bob worked in Sales and Marketing  						with several Sports Marketing firms and with The Food  						Network.   Bob is a 1990 graduate of Villanova  						University with a degree in Communications.</p>
<p><strong>Gene Toepfer<br />
Director of Sales, <em>Foster Printing Service, Inc.</em></strong><br />
Starting as a Designer &amp; Illustrator, then Art Director,  						then Advertising and Marketing Manager, Gene was a buyer  						of printed communications and understands the needs of  						buyers. He then moved to the printer / supply side of  						the industry working in sales, team sales, and sales  						management &amp; marketing. Gene has also presented sales  						seminars around the country including PIA &amp; NAPL events,  						hearing current challenges and imparting tried and  						effective solutions. Gene has degrees in Marketing and  						in Business Administration and is a Kellogg School,  						certified Graphic Arts Marketing Executive.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.t-immersion.com" target="_blank">Total Immersion</a> is working with a range of partners, in and outside  the attractions industry, to develop new uses for augmented reality.</p>
<p>Developed in co-operation with Hanwa of Japan is a new state-of-the-art  haunted house fusing a video game with live adventure.</p>
<p>Before entering the attraction, guests are equipped with a  backpack and video gun (pictured above) featuring an infrared camera,  LCD display and trigger. They must then progress through the house  looking for “ghosts.” Augmented reality allows guests to see characters  that aren’t really there, on top of scenery that is (as below). As soon  as a ghost is spotted on the gun’s screen,  players shoot to collect  points.</p>
<p>The attraction has been developed with family entertainment  centres in mind, or as an upcharge activity at a standard amusement  park. Hanwa will provide the hardware on a turnkey basis, while Total  Immersion supplies the augmented reality software. <a href="http://www.parkworld-online.com/news/fullstory.php/aid/1586/New_uses_for_augmented_reality.html" target="_blank"></a></p>

<p><strong>Who we are:</strong><br />
Total Immersion is a leader and an innovator in the rapidly evolving Augmented Reality (AR) space. We develop innovative brand experiences for clients across a variety of industry sectors including media &amp; entertainment, automotive, publishing, packaged goods, technology and retail. Our proprietary technology has been developed since 1999 and is in major deployments worldwide in both mass consumer applications and highly specialized theme park attractions.<br />
AR is the application of superimposing a digital artifact into the real world. TI’s technology enables the integration of 3D objects into live video; the video is digitally processed and “augmented” with the 3D components. The popularity of AR has seen an increased application in many concept designs, seen by some as a throwback to Virtual Reality technology that has now come of age. Headquartered in Paris with offices in Los Angeles, London, and Hong Kong,<br />
our growing organization is made up of over 60 interactive enthusiasts who look to push creative and technical boundaries every day.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br />
Our ideal candidate is a top performer with the confidence and capability to both work independently and contribute to team projects, while demonstrating a track record of success and increasing responsibility. The Sales Director will report directly to the Vice President of Sales&amp;Marketing APAC on behalf of these key responsibilities:<br />
· Responsible for managing a full-cycle sales process &#8212; from account identification, to delivery, to ongoing account management and maintenance.<br />
· As a strong “hunter”, identify key decision makers and specific initiatives within target accounts.<br />
· Successfully drive and negotiate client engagements, working with and through brand and advertising agencies in conjunction with product clients.<br />
· Accountable for owning a number and developing and maintaining strategic accounts within a vertical.<br />
· Manage individual pipeline of revenue and be responsible for forecasting targets.<br />
· Ensure regular internal communication with cross-functional teams to apprise of project requirements and workflow.<br />
· Prepare presentations and develop strategic analyses of clients’ business and needs.<br />
· A high level of professionalism and honesty, to earn the trust of senior individuals within one&#8217;s own and the client’s organisation, which in turn will enable major issues to be attended to and resolved.<br />
· Like communicating and must relish the challenge of presenting complex information in a lucid and succinct way.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements/Skills:</strong><br />
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in sales / account management / business development from leading companies in media, publishing, software, entertainment or advertising/marketing services/consulting.<br />
· Must speak English<br />
· An understanding of digital and cross-platform communication processes &#8212; including creative approach, design &amp; production, technical considerations and campaign evaluation.<br />
· Self-starter and entrepreneurial with exceptional time and resource management skills.<br />
· Demonstrated track record of building new business and managing roster of clients.<br />

AR is the application of superimposing a digital artifact into the real world. TI’s technology enables the integration of 3D objects into live video; the video is digitally processed and “augmented” with the 3D components. <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br />
Our ideal candidate is a top performer with the confidence and capability to both work independently and contribute to team projects, while demonstrating a track record of success and increasing responsibility. The Partner Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales&amp;Marketing APAC on behalf of these key responsibilities:<br />
· An ability to understand the technology and the unique application or aspect of the<br />
technology that makes the partnership/product different: this also facilitates communication with technical staff.<br />
· A commercial awareness to appreciate how these advantages can be translated into business and financial benefit, for both one&#8217;s own organisation and the partner company.<br />
· Identify key decision makers and specific initiatives within partners accounts.<br />
· Manage individual pipeline of revenue and be responsible for forecasting partners account.<br />
· An overall appreciation of how business works, to identify all the &#8216;pieces of the jigsaw&#8217; that need to be in place to make a partner relationship successful.<br />
· A high level of professionalism and honesty, to earn the trust of senior individuals within one&#8217;s own and the partner&#8217;s organisation, which in turn will enable major issues to be attended to and resolved.<br />
· Like communicating and must relish the challenge of presenting complex information in a lucid and succinct way.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements/Skills:</strong></p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in sales / account management / business development/partner manager from leading companies in media, publishing, software, entertainment or advertising/marketing  services/consulting.<br />
· Must speak Mandarin and English<br />
· An understanding of digital and cross-platform communication processes &#8212; including creative approach, design &amp; production, technical considerations and campaign evaluation.<br />
· Self-starter with exceptional time and resource management skills.<br />
· Demonstrated track record of building new business and managing roster of clients/partners.<br />
· Ease and proficiency in deal negotiation.<br />
· Ability to develop and deliver inspiring presentations.<br />
· Passion and experience in emerging media.<br />
· Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal functional departments.<br />
· Regular travel is required.<br />
· Knowledge of Photoshop and/or creative software a plus.<br />

<p>Reporting directly to the North American Presales Manager, the Presales Engineer will be responsible to provide the following support.</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the Sales team; offering process with technical validations, feasibilities and service offers</li>
<li>Support sales activities through presentations of Total Immersion’s value proposition</li>
<li>Be responsible for providing guidance and  presales support to Total Immersion’s partner network when appropriate.</li>
<li>Revenue generation by quoting accurate time and estimates along with cost effective project deliverables with the active support of the North American Professional Services team</li>
<li>Be responsible for optimizing the revenue of Total Immersion in terms of ratio between License and Services.</li>
<li>Seek optimum customer satisfaction and act as the primary point of contact for customer technical  questions during the sales process</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Responsibilities include: explaining the features and benefits of the Total Immersion solution portfolio; comparing it to those of a competitor&#8217;s products; delivering product presentations to technical and management personnel and communicating with sales and product managers regarding customer needs.</p>
<p>Additional responsibilities include handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences; completing RFI/RFP; identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.</p>
<p><strong>Presales Engineer requirement specifics:</strong></p>
<p>–      Understand customer needs and constraints, help customer define the best Augmented Reality concepts for creating the best application to fulfill customer needs</p>
<p>–      Build customer quotations in accordance with corporate pricing rules and corporate revenue objectives</p>
<p>–      Validate with Professional Services the service offer during the presales phase and ensure region compliance with corporate margin guidelines</p>
<p>–      Provide reliable reporting through the company’s ERP information system</p>
<p><strong>Technical and business related aspects of TI’s Presales Engineer:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance in creative concepting, drive new Augmented Reality concepts taking into account existing and upcoming Total Immersion products features</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally to help define &amp; deliver solutions to the regional market</li>
<li>Assist in educating the regional direct and channel sales force on the capabilities of the Total Immersion products.</li>
<li>Coordinate technical interactions between local sales representatives, local partners and Total Immersion back office support out of France</li>
<li>Integrate, apply and maintain the integraty of the corporate information system, its methods and procedures and quality standards</li>
<li>Provide reliable and accurate business reports responding to known corporate guidelines, especially for project reporting.</li>
<li>Support the offering process and validate the technical and service component of all offer</li>
<li>Educate the partner technical sales force on Augmented Reality solutions selling;support them in positioning the Total Immersion value proposition when necessary</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree in engineering and/or computer science or buiness required;</li>
<li>3 to 5 years of experience in presales or related field , successful track record of working in Tier 1 account in a Presales Environment would be a plus</li>
<li>Ability to grasp and relate complex technology, product and business concepts</li>
<li>Proven track record of building team consensus and collaborating across multicultural and functional lines</li>
<li>Ability to balance multiple priorities to achieve timely business results</li>
<li>Natural self starter, self-motivated, superior work ethic, multi-dimensional thinker, and natural at driving activities to completion</li>
</ul>
