Presales Engineer

Description:
Reporting directly to the North American Presales Manager, the Presales Engineer will be responsible to provide the following support.
- Support the Sales team; offering process with technical validations, feasibilities and service offers
- Support sales activities through presentations of Total Immersion’s value proposition
- Be responsible for providing guidance and presales support to Total Immersion’s partner network when appropriate.
- Revenue generation by quoting accurate time and estimates along with cost effective project deliverables with the active support of the North American Professional Services team
- Be responsible for optimizing the revenue of Total Immersion in terms of ratio between License and Services.
- Seek optimum customer satisfaction and act as the primary point of contact for customer technical questions during the sales process
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: explaining the features and benefits of the Total Immersion solution portfolio; comparing it to those of a competitor’s products; delivering product presentations to technical and management personnel and communicating with sales and product managers regarding customer needs.
Additional responsibilities include handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences; completing RFI/RFP; identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Presales Engineer requirement specifics:
– Understand customer needs and constraints, help customer define the best Augmented Reality concepts for creating the best application to fulfill customer needs
– Build customer quotations in accordance with corporate pricing rules and corporate revenue objectives
– Validate with Professional Services the service offer during the presales phase and ensure region compliance with corporate margin guidelines
– Provide reliable reporting through the company’s ERP information system
Technical and business related aspects of TI’s Presales Engineer:
- Provide guidance in creative concepting, drive new Augmented Reality concepts taking into account existing and upcoming Total Immersion products features
- Work cross-functionally to help define & deliver solutions to the regional market
- Assist in educating the regional direct and channel sales force on the capabilities of the Total Immersion products.
- Coordinate technical interactions between local sales representatives, local partners and Total Immersion back office support out of France
- Integrate, apply and maintain the integraty of the corporate information system, its methods and procedures and quality standards
- Provide reliable and accurate business reports responding to known corporate guidelines, especially for project reporting.
- Support the offering process and validate the technical and service component of all offer
- Educate the partner technical sales force on Augmented Reality solutions selling;support them in positioning the Total Immersion value proposition when necessary

Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in engineering and/or computer science or buiness required;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in presales or related field , successful track record of working in Tier 1 account in a Presales Environment would be a plus
- Ability to grasp and relate complex technology, product and business concepts
- Proven track record of building team consensus and collaborating across multicultural and functional lines
- Ability to balance multiple priorities to achieve timely business results
- Natural self starter, self-motivated, superior work ethic, multi-dimensional thinker, and natural at driving activities to completion
